On behalf of Mark Wilde:

Dear all

Congratulations to the organisers of Obligations VII on a superb conference which I'm sure we all very much enjoyed.

There was much stimulating debate on the role of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (JCPC) in the context of the conference theme; convergences and divergences in common law.

You may be interested to know that this year the summer exhibition at the UK Supreme Court is on the history and work of the JCPC and focuses on some of its most notable decisions in various spheres. It has been organized by Charlotte Smith of the University of Reading in association with the University of Exeter.

It starts at the end of this month and runs through until the autumn (please see attached poster for precise details). If you find yourself in London this summer please come along. There are also associated lectures and activities including moots although tickets for these events may be limited.

Regards

Mark Wilde
